Position Summary:


The Consolidations Analyst manages the monthly corporate and consolidated close, including financial reporting for this mid size privately held company.


Duties:Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

Prepare month end journal entries for corporate related activity.
Import non-U.S. financial statements, translate to U.S. $ and reconcile to reported amounts.
Prepare monthly elimination and consolidating journal entries.
Reconcile inter-company accounts.
Prepare monthly external financial reports for stakeholders.
Prepare monthly consolidated financial package for management.
Assist in year end reporting and external audit.
Consolidate weekly sales flash reports for management meetings.
Consolidate monthly inventory reports for management meetings.
Coordinate completion of monthly, semi-annual and annual government reports.
Prepare and assist on other ad-hoc projects as directed by manager.

Communication: understanding, organization and clear explanations
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Qualifications:Experience, Competencies, and Education:

Excel skills essential.
Cognos and Peoplesoft experience a plus. Minimum of 3 yrs experience and a Bachelors in business, finance or accounting required.
CPA designation is a plus, but not required.
